Derek Tobin, PhD

Derek Tobin has a PhD in molecular and cell biology from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK. He held post-doctoral research positions at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden, and the University of Oslo in Norway for a further 7 years. Since then, Derek has held positions in clinical research and development in global companies such as GE Healthcare and BASF, to local start-ups. For the last 8 years Derek has worked with product development of omega-3 fish oils and is currently the Product Development and Clinical Science Manager at Epax Norway.
